Machine Operators - AM & PM Shifts

NOW HIRING: MACHINE OPERATORS
Location: Smeaton Grange
Pay Rate:$35.34 – $49.48 per hour
Work Days: Monday to Saturday (Wednesdays OFF)
Shifts Available:

Morning Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Afternoon Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM

🔹 Position: Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) Machine Operator
Please note: Prior experience operating Vertical Form Fill Seal machines is essential for this role.
Requirements:

Must have valid Australian work rights
Must be available for flexible shifts across Monday to Saturday
Reliable transport to and from work (a valid driver's license is preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

Select and load appropriate packing film for products
Set up and program VFFS machines for new production runs
Perform film changes and product bin adjustments as needed
Clean and maintain weigh heads, hoppers, and conveyors
Assemble Ishida weigh head components and perform routine maintenance
Monitor weight, gas, and seal levels throughout shifts
Update machine programs and date codes when required
Conduct daily washdowns of machinery and surrounding work areas
Manage and empty product bins into tippers as needed
Complete all production paperwork accurately and on time
