Management Accountant
Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll play a key role in the financial management and performance of a key business unit. This is a hands-on and varied position with exposure across finance, operations and commercial functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an understanding of major customer contracts and management agreements.
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, including transaction reviews, reconciliations, variance analysis and commentary.
- Deliver weekly and monthly reporting, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
- Conduct stock analysis and support operational teams with project costing.
- Manage customer invoicing and reconciliations.
- Review and enhance internal control frameworks and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
- CPA/CA qualification preferred.
- Experience in an inventory related business such as manufacturing, logistics, equipment or mining sectors is highly desirable.
- Strong financial accounting concept knowledge.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for process improvement (business open to implementing Power BI).
- Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport and deliver insightful analysis across operational teams.
- Advanced ERP and MS Excel skills.
