people2people Recruitment has partnered with a brand new medical clinic in St Peters to recruit experienced Medical Receptionists to join their growing team. The modern facility features 9 treatment rooms and is expected to operate in a busy, fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to the local community.
This is an excellent opportunity for professional reception and administration staff looking to join a newly established clinic and contribute to a supportive healthcare team.
The Role The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for providing front desk and administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic.
Key responsibilities include:
- Welcoming and assisting patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Managing appointment bookings and scheduling
- Handling phone enquiries and patient communications
- Processing payments and Medicare claims
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Performing general reception and administrative duties
- Supporting doctors and clinical staff with operational tasks
- Previous medical reception or healthcare administration experience
- Strong knowledge of Best Practice medical software (essential)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinic environment
- A professional and reliable work ethic
- Full-time receptionist positions available
- 7-day rotating roster
- Clinic operating hours 8:00am – 8:00pm
- Changing rosters, including weekday and weekend shifts
- $28 – $38 per hour, depending on experience
A short-term reception/admin role is also available at the clinics Kidman Park clinic
