About the Role
Are you passionate about building relationships and making a genuine impact? As a Member Relations Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of member engagement, helping healthcare professionals maintain their coverage and stay connected with an organisation that supports them throughout their careers. This is a highly relationship-focused role where you’ll proactively connect with members, understand their needs, and guide them through the reinstatement process. Every conversation is an opportunity to strengthen relationships, deliver outstanding service, and make a meaningful difference.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and nurture a portfolio of approximately 15 members, delivering personalised support and service
  • Conduct outbound member engagement calls (approximately 20 per day)
  • Build strong, lasting relationships that encourage membership retention and reinstatement
  • Identify member needs and provide tailored solutions and guidance
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver an exceptional member experience
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and ensure timely follow-up on enquiries
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience within life insurance
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Strong relationship management and customer service skills
  • A natural communicator with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly
  • Proven ability to work towards targets and achieve positive outcomes
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Passion for delivering a high-quality member experience
