The Job
This role will be supporting the region across Murray Bridge, South-East and Horsham, As an Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for supporting the team to achieve outcomes for our customers. You will play a key role maintaining a strong relationship with our customers and ensure, efficient and cost-effective operations. You will work closely with the Transport Manager and support the to lead a high-performing team, manage day-to-day operations, and collaborate with stakeholders across the network to deliver outstanding service and performance.

Responsibilities

Support to Lead and motivate teams to deliver high-quality Transport services
You will manage customer accounts and support them with problem solving
Manage labour and resources to meet operational forecasts and budgets
Champion safety and ensure compliance with HSE and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation
Drive continuous improvement in systems and processes
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Support and develop team members through effective people management

Strong planning and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Tech-savvy mindset with confidence in using internal systems and MS Office
A solid understanding of safety legislation and operational best practices
A commitment to integrity, inclusivity, and outstanding customer service
