About the role
This newly created leadership position provides an opportunity to take charge of day-to-day operations within a warehouse environment. The Operations Manager will be the first point of escalation for the operational team, introducing much-needed structure and accountability. This role is pivotal in improving communication channels and ensuring that operational standards are met consistently.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a small operational workforce, fostering a culture of trust and accountability
- Manage day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring clarity in reporting lines
- Resolve operational issues promptly to maintain workflow efficiency
- Introduce and enhance processes to drive continuous improvement
- Create a structured environment that promotes effective communication.
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in leading warehouse or operations teams, demonstrating strong decision-making skills
- Strong capability in managing conflicting personalities and maintaining team morale
- Demonstrated ability to implement processes that enhance operational efficiency in a factory setting.
