This role focuses on guiding clients through the full spectrum of commercial debt recovery and enforcement. About the role
Working in a fast-paced environment, this role would be suited to an experienced paralegal, or law a law student with paralegal experience looking to develop their experience and exposure. With the option to work full time or part time 4 days per week, duties of the role include:
- Execute tasks accurately and efficiently while balancing deadlines and multiple client matters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of important clients.
- Manage commercial and financial recovery efforts.
- Drive debt recovery and enforcement processes, including bankruptcy, winding-up, asset seizure and sale, garnishee orders, warrants, and oral examinations.
- Manage client matters with accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism.
- Deliver measurable results that meet client expectations and internal targets.
- Handle day-to-day administration – from filing and scanning to email correspondence – with precision.
- Previous paralegal experience.
- Experience in commercial litigation or debt recovery.
- Exceptional communication and client service skills.
- Proactive, confident, and solution-focused mindset.
- Strong organisational, planning, and time management abilities.
- Tech-savvy, quick to pick up new systems and processes.
