Payroll & Accounts Officer - Ipswich

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Payroll/Accounts Officer to join their NFP organisation on a temporary basis. You will be processing payroll for 200 employees on a fortnightly basis. This role would also require you to jump into the accounts team and assist with general accounting tasks. Based in Ipswich, on site parking available, leave cover for 2+ months. 

The Role

• Processing end to end payroll for approx. 200 employees fortnightly
• Set up of new employees and maintaining records 
• Respond to payroll related queries 
• Leave and entitlement calculations 
• Assisting  the accounts team when required 
• Ensure proper maintenance of financial records and accounting systems
• Assist with any ad-hoc duties as requested 

About You

• Proven experience in a similar role 
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficient in payroll and financial software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Great customer service 
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines
