About the role
This role offers an opportunity to manage payroll processes within a dynamic organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate payroll processing, compliance with Australian payroll regulations, and supporting the team in navigating complex awards and EBAs.
Key responsibilities
- Process payroll for employees in accordance with legislation and organisational policies
- Maintain payroll records and ensure accuracy in reporting
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll-related inquiries
- Assist in the implementation of payroll systems and improvements
- Provide support and guidance to team members on payroll matters
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in payroll processing, with at least 2 years in a similar role
- Strong capability in navigating Australian payroll legislation and awards
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with payroll systems, preferably Employment Hero
