Payroll Specialist

Micropay
Western Sydney | Contract for 3 months
$50-65 per hr (negotiable)

Do you have Micropay experience and want to secure a contract through to the end of the year? Based in Sydney’s Western suburbs, this office-based role starts early October and offers flexibility – full-time or part-time (3–5 days per week, depending on your availability).

You’ll receive a generous handover and one month of training, then take ownership of a fortnightly and monthly payroll for up to 500 staff for a month, before working alongside the incumbent as you transition the role back.

Key responsibilities include:

Maintaining accurate payroll records
Processing fortnightly and monthly payroll
Managing tax, superannuation, workers’ compensation, and leave calculations
Handling terminations and payroll queries

What we’re looking for:

Proven experience with Micropay
Knowledge of a time and attendance system (UKG preferred but not essential)
Ability to start within a week
Own transport (onsite parking provided)
