About the role
The Payroll Specialist will manage payroll functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance for approximately 250 employees on common law contracts. The role requires office attendance for the initial handover period, with a flexible work arrangement possible thereafter.
Key responsibilities
- Process payroll using Micropay, ensuring timely and accurate payments
- Implement necessary upgrades and maintain system functionality
- Collaborate with the current Payroll Manager during the handover
- Address payroll queries and provide support to employees
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies.
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in payroll processing, specifically with Micropay
- Strong capability in managing payroll upgrades and system improvements
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
