Policy Analyst - Māori


This is a permanent, full-time, Wellington-based position at a Ministry, which has a policy team dedicated to improving outcomes for Māori.

You will be given the opportunity to lead policy work, with support from more experienced colleagues.

Required experience:
  • at least 12 months experience of working in a New Zealand central government agency, within a in a Policy team which does core/strategic/big P policy analysis and policy development, and provides policy advice to a Minister.
  • an appreciation of the challenges for Māori and Pacific peoples
  • a good understanding of the Machinery of government experience.
You'll need to be based in Wellington; and be a NZ Resident or Citizen.
