Policy Analyst - Māori

This is a permanent, full-time, Wellington-based position at a Ministry, which has a policy team dedicated to improving outcomes for Māori.

You will be given the opportunity to lead policy work, with support from more experienced colleagues.

Required experience:

Minimum 12 months experience working in a in a Policy team in a New Zealand central government agency, where the team is providing policy advice to a Minister
A good understanding of mātauranga Māori, an appreciation of the challenges for Māori and Pacific peoples, and a passion for improving outcomes
Good knowledge of the NZ Machinery of Government.

You'll need to be based in Wellington; and be a NZ Resident or NZ Citizen.
