The Principal Advisor will play a vital role in shaping the direction of the Ministerial Services team. This position involves sharing expertise to inform decision-making, resolving issues to uphold the Ministry's integrity and developing innovative solutions for challenges.

The role also includes mentoring staff and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.

Mōu | About you

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Ministerial Services or Government Services within a New Zealand central government agency. You will possess strong analytical skills, the ability to manage Official Information Act requests and experience engaging with Select Committees.

Your capacity to lead continuous improvement initiatives and mentor team members will be essential.
