The Role
Regional Maintenance Manager located in the South-East region of South Australia, you will be responsible for the reliability and performance of fleet and equipment. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical expertise and ability to manage maintenance operations effectively. The role requires regular travel between Horsham, Bordertown, Naracoorte and Murray Bridge.
Key responsibilities
- Schedule service, repairs and perform diagnostic work on fleet vehicles.
- Liaise with external service providers to ensure repairs are completed on time
- Problem solve, trouble shoot and be able to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and complete required paperwork
- Manage a small team of mechanics and trade assistants
- Respond to out-of-hour calls from drivers requesting repairs for breakdowns
Who are you?
- Mechanical trade certification (preferred)
- Previous experience managing a fleet of vehicles and equipment
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to provide diagnostic and breakdown support
- Experience in the heavy vehicle industry is a must
- HR Licence
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
