Retail Sales Assistant

people2people are currently seeking a customer focused Retail Sales Consultant to represent a leading global brand. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about delivering exceptional face‑to‑face customer service, driving sales, and creating memorable in store experiences.

About the Role

Flexible part time hours, averaging 10–15 hours per week
Candidates must be available on Mondays, be available for most other weekdays, and be open to weekend work
Work across eastern and south‑eastern suburbs of Melbourne
Hourly rate: $33.19 – $44.89 + Super(based on day of week and overtime)

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high‑quality, personalised service to every customer
Provide exceptional product knowledge and tailored recommendations
Drive sales and achieve store targets
Maintain store presentation and manage stock levels
Work confidently and independently within the store environment

Skills & Experience

Previous face‑to‑face retail or customer service experience is essential
Self‑motivated, proactive attitude with demonstrated sales ability
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on maintaining a clean and organised store
Experience in Department store environments is highly regarded
Expereince in matress and bedding is highly regarded
