This is a fixed term role to July 2026, based in Wellington, with a salary range of $115-145K p.a.. Step into a sole-charge role where your expertise in public sector accountability documents and performance reporting will directly influence executive and board-level decision-making facilitating interpretation of the measures. You’ll lead the development of key accountability documents and drive strategic monitoring and evaluation frameworks across the organisation.

Mōu | About you
You’re confident working independently, with a knack for interpreting the measures and turning complex data into clear, actionable insights. You bring 4–6 years’ experience in accountability documents, performance reporting & evaluation, or policy, and have produced accountability documents for government audiences.

Proven experience in performance reporting and strategic insights
Skilled in preparing public sector accountability documents (Statements of Intent, quarterly and annual reports)
Strong analytical and communication skills
Comfortable operating as the sole adviser in this space
