The Role
- Senior Associate role within a Banking & Finance team focusing on structured finance and securitisation
- Leading and managing structured finance and securitisation transactions with support from junior lawyers
- Advising on complex domestic and cross-border financing arrangements
- Working across general corporate finance matters including asset-based lending and derivatives
- Exposure to transactions across Asia, Europe and North America
- Drafting and negotiating transaction documentation and managing deal processes
- Direct client engagement and involvement in business development initiatives
- Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers and contributing to team development
- Working closely with experienced partners on high value, technically complex matters
The Candidate
- Admitted lawyer with 5+ years post admission experience
- Strong background in structured finance and securitisation transactions from a global or top-tier firm
- Exposure to corporate finance, asset-based lending or derivatives is advantageous
- Experience working on cross-border transactions is highly regarded
- Technically strong with the ability to manage complex matters with limited supervision
- Commercially minded with a pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
- Confident communicator with strong drafting skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Collaborative working style with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
- Demonstrated interest in mentoring and developing junior lawyers
