The Role
- Sydney based role within a high achieving dispute resolution team
- Working across a broad range of commercial litigation and complex disputes
- Exposure to matters from strategy through to resolution
- Involvement in negotiations, mediations and court proceedings
- Close collaboration with a group of experienced dispute resolution partners
- Significant client contact and relationship management
- Opportunity to mentor and support junior members of the team
- Strong scope for long term growth and progression
The Candidate
- Senior Associate level lawyer with 5-9yrs post admission experience
- Strong background in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, class actions or government litigation
- Committed to building a long term career in disputes
- Team oriented with a strong work ethic
- Commercially astute with an interest in clients’ business challenges
- Confident handling client relationships and complex matters
- Strong mentoring capability and leadership potential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly analytical, diligent and detail oriented
- Efficient and organised with a thoughtful and committed approach to work
