A leading global organisation in explosive products and blasting solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Blasting Technician / Drill & Blast Engineer / Mining Engineer to join their team. This hybrid role offers flexibility to work from home while conducting regular site visits to mining and quarry operations, with occasional travel across Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea.

- Conduct site inspections across regional WA, Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea
- Design and implement drill and blast patterns and provide technical support for mining operations
- Train and mentor technical teams in safe handling of explosives and blasting best practices
- Support advanced electronic initiation systems and blast design software
- Lead post-blast analysis, including vibration and noise monitoring, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with R&D teams by providing field feedback and supporting new technology development
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in mining, blasting, or quarrying operations
- Strong technical knowledge of drill and blast practices; electronic detonator experience highly regarded
- Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent qualification advantageous
- Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required
- Nice to have: experience with blast design software, vibration/noise monitoring, or continuous improvement / R&D initiatives
