Senior Credit Controller / Accounts Receivable
An established organisation is seeking a capable Credit Controller to join their finance team. Beginning as a 6-month contract, this role offers the opportunity to step in, make an immediate impact, and transition into a long-term permanent position.
This opportunity is well suited to candidates with Credit Control experience who are looking to broaden their exposure, as well as established professionals who can confidently manage complex portfolios and build strong working relationships across the business. With $50 per hour on offer and the potential to transition into a $100,000 + super permanent salary, your experience and performance will be recognised and rewarded.
Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will take ownership of a high-volume ledger, driving collections, maintaining accurate accounts, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of accounts receivable. You will also contribute to process improvements and support overall cashflow performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing a portfolio of customer accounts and maintaining accurate credit records
- Proactively managing outstanding balances and ensuring timely collections
- Processing and allocating incoming payments with a high level of accuracy
- Resolving account queries, investigating discrepancies, and completing reconciliations
- Reviewing credit information and identifying potential risks
- Liaising with internal teams to resolve invoicing or account issues efficiently
- Supporting ongoing improvements across credit control processes and procedures.
