Senior Financial Accountant

As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will utilise your accounting background and expertise to ensure financial compliance and drive the success of the business. As part of a high performing team, the role is crucial to ensuring compliance from both a finance and tax perspective.

The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller and working in a team of five, the responsibilities of the role will include,

Month end year-end statutory reporting
Preparation of Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS
Manage Audit process and acting as a primary contact for external auditors
Month end processing and managing fixed assets
Drafting technical accounting papers
Identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities
Supporting budgeting and forecasting process and analysis

About You
The successful applicant will have/be,

CA or CPA qualified with strong understanding of Australian Accounting standards
Proven experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements and managing Audit
Advanced Excel and strong ERP systems exposure
Experience working with an ASX listed business, highly desirable
Well developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills
