Senior HR Business Partner

• $130,000 - $150,000 plus super

The organisation

people2people is partnering with a purpose-driven organisation that supports communities across Queensland through strategic leadership and policy development in the education sector. Working closely with schools and government stakeholders, the organisation plays an active role in driving research, influence and meaningful change across the education landscape.

The opportunity

Reporting to the Group HR Manager, this role provides strategic and hands-on HR leadership across the full employee lifecycle. You will partner closely with diverse stakeholders to ensure contemporary, compliant workforce practices aligned to organisational values and play a key role in upcoming EA negotiations. Prior experience in this area is essential.

Selection criteria

• Tertiary qualification in HR, IR, Business or a related field


• Broad HR generalist experience across the full employee lifecycle


• Proven experience managing complex ER/IR matters and investigations


• Exposure to or experience with EA negotiations is highly regarded


• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, awards and EAs


• Confident stakeholder engagement and influencing skills


• Experience supporting HR projects, culture initiatives and policy development


• A current QLD Driver’s Licence, Blue Card and National Police Check, or willingness to obtain
