The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to step into a design leadership role in-house, shaping the direction of a premium commercial and retail portfolio.
You’ll sit at the intersection of design, leasing and asset strategy—leading design outcomes that directly influence tenant experience, leasing success and long-term asset value.
This is not a pure strategy role. You’ll be hands-on in design delivery, owning everything from concept and test-fits through to documentation and construction.
Your Impact
- Lead design direction across commercial office, retail and common area upgrades
- Influence leasing outcomes through test fits, space planning and tenant experience
- Drive consistency, quality and innovation across a high-end property portfolio
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading concept design, space planning and interior solutions across assets
- Producing and reviewing drawings (Revit/AutoCAD) and design documentation
- Overseeing tenancy fit-out reviews, approvals and compliance
- Driving design delivery across refurbishments, upgrades and capital works
- Managing external architects, consultants and contractors
- Partnering with Leasing, Property and Projects teams to align design with asset strategy
- Ensuring all works meet NCC, BCA and regulatory requirements
What You’ll Bring
- Strong experience in commercial interior design / architecture
- Proven experience delivering large-scale fitouts, refurbishments and upgrades
- Strong leadership across consultants and stakeholders
- Hands-on capability in Revit and AutoCAD (non-negotiable)
- Deep understanding of compliance (NCC/BCA)
- Ability to balance design excellence with commercial outcomes
