Temporary assignment starting immediately running until the end of October. Hybrid working available – Head office based in the CBD, 40 hours a week but flexible on working hours. Competitive hourly rate, reflective of your experience.
We're partnering with a large, complex organisation embarking on several significant organisational change initiatives and are seeking an experienced HR professional to help drive these programmes through to successful completion. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing People team where you'll work alongside senior leaders, providing practical HR advice, navigating complex stakeholder conversations, and ensuring change programmes maintain momentum.
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
This isn't a traditional HR Advisory/ Business Partner position. You'll be immersed in organisational change, supporting multiple concurrent programmes from consultation through to implementation. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll play a key role in coordinating change activity, preparing documentation, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and ensuring every stage of the process is managed professionally and compliantly. You'll be someone who can see the bigger picture while remaining focused on the operational detail that keeps complex programmes moving.
Ngā Mahi Matua | Key Responsibilities
  • You'll be involved in: Supporting multiple organisational change programmes simultaneously. Preparing consultation and change documentation. Partnering with leaders throughout consultation and implementation. Managing employee and stakeholder communications with confidence and professionalism. Providing practical HR and Employment Relations guidance throughout change processes. Building trusted relationships across a broad stakeholder group. Balancing legislative requirements with commercially sound outcomes.
Ngā Pūkenga me ngā Wheako | About You
You'll be an experienced Senior HR Advisor, HR Business Partner or Change Specialist who has successfully delivered complex organisational change initiatives. You'll bring: Demonstrated experience leading or supporting multiple organisational change programmes. Strong knowledge of Employment Relations legislation and consultation processes. The ability to confidently manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with sound judgement. Experience working within unionised environments will be highly regarded.
Most importantly, you'll be someone who can build credibility quickly, influence with confidence, and keep complex pieces of work moving forward.
