An opportunity is available in Wellington for a Senior Policy Analyst to join a central government public sector funding policy team that provides policy advice to the Minister on funding settings.
This is a core policy role with a strong analytical focus, suited to an experienced policy professional who enjoys complex policy work, collaboration, and contributing to high-quality Ministerial advice.
A major focus of the team currently is an operational grant review. This work involves reviewing the whole breadth of the operational grant and the formulas that sit underneath it. The Senior Policy Analyst will be expected to lead a defined piece of this work, working closely with others across the team.
