Senior Tax Advisory Manager
The Opportunity
This is a key hire for the East London office, with a direct need for an experienced Mixed Tax professional to join as a Tax Advisory Manager or Senior Manager, depending on experience. You will play a vital role in supporting the partners on a wide range of complex tax advisory projects. This role offers excellent career prospects and the chance to become a central figure in a growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with partners on mixed tax advisory projects for a diverse client base.
- Taking ownership of projects from inception to completion, including preparing advice letters and reports.
- Managing client relationships and expectations on advisory projects.
- Delegating and overseeing the preparation of transaction documents.
- Handling technical responses to HMRC inquiries.
- Mentoring and training junior members of the tax team.
- Contributing to the department's growth and development strategy.
- CTA qualification is strongly preferred, though other relevant qualifications and QBE candidates with extensive experience will be considered.
- Proven technical knowledge across corporate tax, personal tax, and IHT/Trust tax is essential.
- Experience gained within a Top 100 accountancy firm is ideal.
- You must be a highly effective communicator, both written and verbal, with a client-focused attitude.
- A stable career history is important, and you should be a self-starter with the ability to manage a portfolio of clients.
