Senior Tax Advisory Manager

Our client is a well-established and growing London firm, renowned for its focus on owner-managed businesses. As part of a larger, rapidly expanding national group, they are on a trajectory to become a UK Top 20 firm. The Opportunity

This is a key hire for the East London office, with a direct need for an experienced Mixed Tax professional to join as a Tax Advisory Manager or Senior Manager, depending on experience. You will play a vital role in supporting the partners on a wide range of complex tax advisory projects. This role offers excellent career prospects and the chance to become a central figure in a growing team.

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with partners on mixed tax advisory projects for a diverse client base.
Taking ownership of projects from inception to completion, including preparing advice letters and reports.
Managing client relationships and expectations on advisory projects.
Delegating and overseeing the preparation of transaction documents.
Handling technical responses to HMRC inquiries.
Mentoring and training junior members of the tax team.
Contributing to the department's growth and development strategy.

The Ideal Candidate

CTA qualification is strongly preferred, though other relevant qualifications and QBE candidates with extensive experience will be considered.
Proven technical knowledge across corporate tax, personal tax, and IHT/Trust tax is essential.
Experience gained within a Top 100 accountancy firm is ideal.
You must be a highly effective communicator, both written and verbal, with a client-focused attitude.
A stable career history is important, and you should be a self-starter with the ability to manage a portfolio of clients.
