This role is perfect for someone who enjoys autonomy, problem‑solving, and working hands‑on with customers across the state. You’ll be supported by a collaborative Melbourne-based team and a highly respected national business.

About the Role
As a Service Technician, you’ll provide onsite servicing, installation, repairs, and technical support for tyre/wheel service equipment and related workshop machinery.
You’ll travel across Victoria, spending most days on the road visiting workshops, dealerships, and automotive customers.

Key responsibilities include:

Servicing, installing, and repairing tyre/wheel equipment and vehicle hoists
Troubleshooting faults and performing diagnostic assessments
Supporting customers with product use, safety, and maintenance
Completing service reports, warranty documentation, and installation records
Educating clients and supporting sales with technical insights
Providing phone support and assisting with customer inquiries when required
Working safely and professionally in all customer environments

About You We’re looking for someone who has:

Experience with tyre/wheel service equipment OR hoists OR automotive workshop equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic ability
Great customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
A valid driver’s licence
Experience with systems like SimPro is a bonus, but not essential
