About the role
The organisation is seeking an experienced Site Administrator to support a major tunnelling project based in Watsonia. This role is hands-on and site-based, requiring close collaboration with a large blue-collar workforce. You will be responsible for workforce administration, payroll support, and crew coordination across the project.
Key responsibilities
  • Process workforce timesheets and payroll information through UKG and manual systems
  • Coordinate workforce payroll administration and timesheet approvals
  • Manage crew changes and communicate updates to Payroll, HR, and operational stakeholders
  • Coordinate workforce onboarding and employee administration activities
  • Liaise with Payroll, HR, Recruitment, and site teams regarding workforce requirements
  • Coordinate workforce travel allowances and workforce records administration
  • Maintain compliance documentation including leave forms, medical certificates, and workforce records
  • Act as the first point of contact for workforce and head office queries
  • Provide general site administration and operational support.
Skills & experience
  • Proven experience in workforce administration, payroll administration, or site administration
  • Strong capability in construction, civil, infrastructure, mining, or industrial workforces
  • Demonstrated ability to understand Enterprise Agreements, Awards, or Industrial Relations principles
  • Proven experience in processing timesheets and supporting payroll functions
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Proven ability to work independently and confidently in a site-based environment
  • Strong capability in using payroll or workforce management systems, with experience in UKG/Kronos being advantageous.
