About the Role
This education based organisation in the Hills District is seeking a Student Placement Coordinator to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.
Reporting to the Student Placements team, this role plays a key part in engaging businesses and securing placement opportunities for students. It is a phone based, relationship driven position with a strong focus on outreach, conversion and accurate tracking of activity. This is a fast paced role suited to someone comfortable with outbound engagement, building new relationships and working towards clear outcomes.
Key responsibilities include
- Making outbound calls to businesses to secure student placement opportunities
- Engaging new organisations who have not previously hosted students
- Building and maintaining relationships with placement partners
- Accurately updating systems, logging calls and tracking activity
- Communicating confidently and positively with a range of stakeholders
You will ideally bring
- Experience in phone based sales or business development
- Confidence engaging with businesses and handling outbound calls
- Strong communication skills. Clear, engaging and professional
- A genuine interest in supporting students into placements
- High attention to detail and disciplined system use
- Ability to work towards activity and outcome targets
