About the role
An opportunity has become available for a Supply Planner to join a close-knit supply chain team within an established consumer products business. This is a broad, hands-on role covering supply planning, forecasting, purchasing, international vendors, and shipment coordination across Australia and New Zealand. You will take ownership of a portfolio of more than 500 SKUs, working closely with sales, suppliers, and the wider supply chain team to ensure stock is available at the right time while balancing inventory levels, supplier requirements, and customer demand.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the monthly forecasting process across Australia and New Zealand
- Maintain and review 12-month forecasts across a portfolio of 500+ SKUs
- Upload forecasts into SAP and SAP IBP and monitor forecast accuracy
- Work closely with Sales and Category Managers to understand upcoming demand
- Raise and manage purchase orders with overseas suppliers
- Communicate regularly with vendors regarding new orders and shipping dates
- Coordinate container requirements and work with suppliers to optimise shipments
- Monitor supplier and shipping delays, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
Skills & experience
- Proven experience within supply chain, planning, inventory, replenishment, or purchasing
- Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables and lookup functions
- Experience using SAP or another ERP system
- Strong analytical and numerical ability
- Confidence communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple orders, priorities, and deadlines
- Good problem-solving skills and confidence to escalate issues when required.
