Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Specialist

We’re partnering with a values-driven higher education provider to appoint an experienced Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Specialist. This is an opportunity to shape recruitment strategy and play a key role in building capability across a growing academic institution.

About the Role

This end-to-end recruitment position manages permanent and fixed-term vacancies across academic and professional portfolios.
You will:

Lead full-cycle recruitment across a diverse range of roles.
Proactively map and source talent to build strong pipelines, particularly for specialist and academic positions.
Leverage LinkedIn and other sourcing tools to attract high-quality candidates.
Partner with external agencies to support hard-to-fill and temporary requirements.
Promote the organisation’s Employment Value Proposition to prospective candidates.
Provide remuneration benchmarking insights to support workforce planning and budgeting.
Contribute to innovative attraction and retention initiatives.
Ensure all pre-employment compliance and documentation is managed accurately and within required timeframes.

About You

Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Talent Acquisition and/or HR.
Demonstrated success managing full-cycle recruitment.
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capability.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Professional, detail-oriented, and confident working with stakeholders at all levels.
Comfortable using ATS platforms and Microsoft Office tools.
