people2people are currently seeking an experienced Technical LMS Specialist to support the administration and optimisation of a complex, customised Moodle-based Learning Management System for a Brisbane based organisation. This is an initial 6‑week contract with scope for extension based of the needs of the organisation.

About the Role
This role will see the successful candidate take ownership of the technical operation of the LMS, ensuring seamless functionality, accurate reporting, and a positive user experience across a highly customised environment. Key responsibilities will include:

Technical Administration of the LMS
Operate and maintain a complex Moodle environment with multiple subsystems. High‑level technical capability is essential, along with strong troubleshooting and configuration skills.
Previous experience working with SCORM packages is essential.
Vendor & Issue Management
Manage the contracted LMS service provider to ensure effective troubleshooting, issue resolution, and an efficient, reliable experience for end users.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong, credible relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure LMS capabilities are clearly communicated, understood, and fully utilised.
Identify learning issues and recommend design or technical solutions that support organisational needs.
Course Delivery & Compliance
Work collaboratively with subject matter experts and local administrators to manage the end‑to‑end delivery of online courses, ensuring optimal learning outcomes and accurate compliance reporting.

About You

Advanced technical experience administering Moodle (or similar LMS platforms) in a complex environment
Strong understanding of SCORM file structure and delivery
Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving capability
Confidence managing external vendors and internal stakeholders
Ability to work autonomously and deliver under tight timeframes
