About the role
The Vender Manager position is essential for overseeing vendor relationships in the context of a significant project. This role will facilitate communication and collaboration between project teams and vendors, ensuring that contractual obligations are met and risks are managed effectively. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence project outcomes through strategic vendor management.
Key responsibilities
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts for the project
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on project goals
- Assess risk and compliance issues proactively and implement resolutions
- Facilitate communication between vendors and project stakeholders
- Monitor vendor performance and address any issues that arise.
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in managing vendor contracts, preferably in IT projects
- Strong capability in risk assessment and compliance management
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
