Logistics Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Logistics Manager to lead warehouse and distribution operations based in Kewdale, WA. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing end to end logistics performance across the state, ensuring efficient, cost effective and high quality service delivery to clients.
You will take ownership of operational performance, team leadership, client relationships, and continuous improvement across warehousing, inventory and distribution functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all warehouse and logistics operations including receiving, storage, pick and pack, inventory control and dispatch
- Ensure all inbound and outbound orders are processed efficiently and in line with client SOPs, KPIs and service level agreements
- Own operational performance including productivity, labour planning, budgeting and cost control
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency
- Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy and data integrity within warehouse management systems
- Oversee workforce planning and reduce reliance on agency labour through productivity improvements
- Manage key client relationships, including regular operational reviews and performance reporting
- Support client onboarding, tender submissions and implementation of new business
- Ensure strong focus on workplace health and safety, hygiene and compliance standards
- Lead, coach and develop warehouse and logistics teams to achieve high performance outcomes.
About You
You are a confident and commercially minded logistics leader who thrives in fast paced operational environments. You take ownership of outcomes and are comfortable leading both people and performance at a senior level.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in logistics, warehousing or supply chain leadership roles
- Strong operational management experience, ideally within multi client environments
- Demonstrated ability to improve productivity, reduce costs and drive operational efficiency
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
- Solid understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability
- Experience working with logistics KPIs and operational performance metrics
- Formal qualification in logistics, supply chain or related field (desirable).
