About the role
The Warehouse Assistant/Assembler position offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute to the refurbishment and assembly of high-quality household appliances. This role is integral to ensuring that products meet the organisation's standards of excellence and are prepared for distribution.
Key responsibilities
- Refurbish a wide variety of appliances
- Inspect products for wear, damage, or defects
- Disassemble components using power tools such as drills and screwdrivers
- Clean smaller parts and either repackage them or reattach them to other products for resale
- Process returns, including checking incoming items, completing paperwork, and ensuring all parts are accounted for
- Assist with inventory, labelling, packaging, and basic administration tasks
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in warehouse, assembly, or similar environments
- Strong capability in following instructions and maintaining attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to lift up to 15kg and work in a physically demanding role
- Motivated with a strong work ethic and full-time availability
- Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
