people2people are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Assistant/Forklift Driver to join a well-established business based in the Botany area.
This is a full-time Monday to Friday role, working 7am to 3pm OR 10am to 6pm, offering consistent hours within a busy production and warehouse environment.
This role would suit someone who is physically fit, safety-focused and highly detail-oriented, with previous warehouse, inventory, RF scanning AND forklift experience.
The Role -
Working within a warehouse and production environment, you will be responsible for supporting the movement, storage and supply of raw product to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Loading raw product into bins and production areas
- Moving and storing pallets, bulk bags and smaller bags
- Labelling and accounting for stock accurately
- Picking and preparing inventory to support production
- Checking inbound deliveries against documentation
- Recording stock movements and delivery information in the system
- Using RF scanning equipment
- Operating a forklift and walk-behind stacker safely
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Communicating any quality, safety or inventory issues to the team
About You -
- Previous warehouse, inventory, stores or production experience
- A current forklift licence and experience
- RF scanning experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A safety-first mindset
- Good communication skills
- Physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting up to 20kg
- Comfortable working in a hands-on environment that can be dusty at times
- Reliable, punctual and able to commit to full-time hours
- Full and unrestricted working rights in Australia
