Meet Terry The Terror Terrier

Breed: Jack Russell x Rescue

Barking from: Tauranga

What's up dog?

Terry is a very special dog, he's the dog that proves you can come from any background and still turn your life around.
He had many homes before I adopted him at 13 months and had ALOT of issues.
While he was at the pound he failed his assessment and was due to be euthanized, but he got a lifeline
He tested every single one of my training capabilities and more than once I was tempted to give up.
Many times I thought he would struggle to be a good pet, let alone a competitive agility, he had so much anxiety it was hard for him to understand that working with me was a good thing.
But through determination and understanding we got there, he's now much more settled around the home and usually a competitive agility dog (although he still has a big attitude and likes to argue when I can't keep up with him).
He has made heaps of friends, human and dog, and everyone loves his Terryness.

He deserves this award as proof that every dog can have a second chance, they can turn their lives around and they can affect
