Meet Chiku
Breed: Maltese
Barking from: Flatbush, Auckland
What's up dog?
Chiku has a way of lighting up every space he walks into. Whether we're at the park, on a walk, or visiting friends, people are drawn to his sweet nature and gentle energy. Kids run to him, strangers stop to say hello, and even those who aren't "dog people find themselves smiling. He brings joy, comfort, and connection wherever he goes. When someone's sad or anxious, Chiku seems to know he'll quietly sit beside them or nudge their hand, like he's saying, "I'm here. He's helped people through hard times without even trying just by being his calm, loving self. He may be small, but his impact is big.
