What's up dog?
Iris is a 17-month-old golden retriever with a heart as big as her paws. From the moment she arrived, she's brought an incredible sense of joy and connection to everyone around her. Her energy is infectious whether she's bounding down the street to greet a neighbor or flopping over for belly rubs from a stranger, she makes people smile wherever she goes. She has a special way of lifting moods. Friends and family often say just spending a few minutes with Iris makes their day better. She's especially gentle with kids and the elderly sensing when to be calm and when to play. One neighbor who lives alone told us that Iris's daily visits have made him feel less isolated and more connected to the community. Iris is still young, but she already seems to understand what people need. During stressful times, she's the first to offer quiet comfort, resting her head on a knee or curling up beside someone without being asked. She's brought laughter during tough days, calm during chaos, and a reminder to find joy in the simple things. More than just a pet, Iris is a bright spot in the lives of everyone who meets her. She brings people together, breaks down barriers, and shows us every single day the impact of unconditional love.
