Meet Lachi
Breed: English/French Bulldog
Barking from: Papakura, Auckland
What's up dog?
Laachi is a charming little bulldog puppy who has quickly become the heart of her home. Born on 19 May 2025, she is still in her early months of life, full of curiosity and playful energy. Despite her small size, she already has a big personality — equal parts sweet, stubborn, and silly. Her name, “Laachi,” carries a warm and endearing touch, perfectly suited to her gentle yet mischievous nature.
From the moment she arrived, Laachi has been a source of joy and laughter for her family. She has an expressive face that seems to tell a story with every look — whether it’s her wide-eyed wonder at a new toy or her comically dramatic pout when she doesn’t get her way. Like many bulldogs, she has a fondness for short bursts of play followed by long, cozy naps, often curling herself into the softest spot she can find.
Right now, Laachi is in her socialisation phase, learning about the world one sniff at a time. Living in an apartment means her family is patiently training her to go to the toilet outside, especially after meals. Every walk is a little adventure for her — from meeting new people and dogs to exploring the smells of the footpath. She thrives on positive reinforcement, responding best to gentle encouragement and tasty rewards.
Her family loves watching her personality develop. Sometimes she’s a bundle of excitement, chasing her toys with clumsy determination; other times she’s a quiet observer, resting her chin on someone’s lap and simply enjoying their presence. In just a short time, Laachi has brought warmth, fun, and a sense of companionship that only a beloved pet can offer. She may be small now, but she’s already making a big mark on the hearts around her.
