Breed: Staffy x German Shepherd

Barking from: Mt Albert, Auckland

What's up dog?

Min is more than just an office dog she's a quiet, calming presence who brings warmth, comfort, and connection to our workplace every day. Her gentle nature helps to ease stress and foster a sense of wellbeing among staff and students alike. One of Min's greatest gifts is her ability to support mental health simply by being present. She listens without judgment, never interrupts, and offers a kind of companionship that feels grounding and safe. Whether someone is having a tough day or just needs a moment to reset, Min is always there ready with a soft nuzzle or a quiet cuddle that says, "You're not alone. Her calm energy is contagious. In a busy environment where things can get overwhelming, Min reminds us to slow down and breathe. Min is also a great reminder to get outside, breathe some fresh air, and soak in some sun, during her very important bathroom breaks. She may not have a job title, but her impact is important. Her cuddles, calmness, and quiet companionship make her an irreplaceable source of emotional support and joy. She gives the BEST cuddles!

2025 NZ People's Choice Award

We believe no dog should be left behind.

Every dog entered into the competition is automatically in the running for the 2025 People’s Choice Award — and the winner will be decided by you, the public.

This year, we’re giving the aroha back to our communities.

Each year, our campaign is supported by a number of incredible charities across Aotearoa that work tirelessly to improve the lives of dogs and people alike. In 2025, we’re shining a spotlight on these organisations and the vital mahi they do.

As part of the voting process, every voter will have the chance to donate to our amazing mental health or dog-focused charities.

It’s your vote, your voice, and your opportunity to make a difference.
