Meet Mr Chum
Breed: Short Legged Jack Russell Terrier
Barking from: Bayview , Auckland
What's up dog?
20 year old Mr Chum started life as my Grandpa's companion. My Pa named him Chum, meaning friend. When my grandpa got sick and moved to a home, my Mum adopted Chum at 8 years old. Chum lived in Tauranga on an avocado orchard and visited my Pa weekly to keep him happy. When my Pa moved to a home in Auckland, my partner and I adopted him. We continued taking Chum to see Pa in the rest home until he sadly passed many years later. Chum graduated to Mr Chum as now works hard to supervise his nephew and nieces. He was the best boy at our wedding last year and continues to bring joy to everyone he meets. He is an emotional support dog, a best friend, an uncle, and so much more. We love him so much!!! He is still very active, jumps on all the furniture and enjoys lots of cuddles!
