Meet plum

Breed: cockapoo

Barking from: Beachlands, Auckland

What's up, dog?

Plum: chicken thief, fetch rebel, courier chaser, best friend and absolutely the Top Dog in our hearts. 🐾 Plum is more than just our family dog she's the heart and soul of our home. Playful, cheeky, and full of love, Plum brings endless joy and laughter into our lives. She's got her own unique twist on the game of fetch: she holds the ball and you have to chase her. It's classic Plum always turning the ordinary into something hilarious. She's also a true social butterfly who loves mingling with other dogs at the park. But the NZ Post courier? Let's just say Plum goes ballistic when he arrives. We like to think it's because she loves him too much. Plum is also my daughter Sophia's best friend. Their bond is pure, even though Plum once stole her Nando's chicken off the dining table. When caught red-pawed, she froze mid-step, one leg in the air, like a guilty little statue. She's no stranger to mischief. One day I stepped away from my butter chicken to answer the door, and returned to find an empty plate and a very orange dog. Her face was stained for a week. No regrets from Plum. Despite the chaos, she's our everything. She waits patiently by the window for me every day, then launches herself at my chest the moment I walk in tail wagging, heart bursting. She's affectionate, playful, loyal, and completely one of a kind. Plum doesn't just deserve to be Top Dog she is Top Dog in our lives.
