What's up dog?
Mac has been going to our business workplace since we first started! That's now about 4 years, although now he spends less time in the office he still visits every few weeks and he loves catching up with everyone. Our business is a startup so it can be a stressful environment, having dogs in the office keeps the vibe pawsitive. Mac has had a massive influence over our business, we named our product after Mac (the Streetdog, an electric bike). Mac looks like a streetdog (he was found roaming the streets!) we got Mac just before the first prototype was built, so he's been there every step of the way. He kept my husband company in the garage on late nights, he was there in the first office building, it was a shitty shed with no windows! He then kept everyone company in a very stressful, cramped environment in the centre on Wellington and now in the Hamilton office. He found the Wellington office quite stressful too - there was a lot of construction going on at the time. He seems to like the Hamilton office and gets so excited to go and see his mates. Most of the time Mac is sleeping on his bed, although he does love to join meetings in the boardroom. For a while a Mac was the CEO, but he's since been demoted, he still likes to keep an eye on things to make sure things are running smoothly. He is basically the founder. He has a giant painting of himself hanging up in the workshop for morale. Not many dogs have that. Having the main product named after him is a pretty big deal too!
