My dog isn't just my best friend; she's the unofficial mascot of our classroom, bringing joy, chaos, and endless entertainment to our class. She flops down next to someone looking nervous, and then parades around class as I teach to get her regular pats. Groups of students take turn to walk her around the school compound during morning tea and even the quietest kid cracks a smile when she drops a toy at their feet, demanding a game of fetch mid-lesson. And the best part this year? She's starring in our school production! Will she remember her cues? Probably not. Will she steal the show? Absolutely.
