Associate (2-5yrs PAE), Banking & Finance

With sustained growth across its Brisbane office, the firm is now looking to expand its Banking & Finance team.
The Role
The Associate will join a busy and diverse Banking & Finance team acting on a broad range of front-end transactions. The work includes acting for major banks, alternative lenders, corporate borrowers, private equity funds and developers. Matters span corporate and institutional lending, property and construction finance, acquisition finance, mezzanine debt, and debt capital markets. The successful candidate will enjoy a hands-on role with direct client contact, drafting and negotiating key transaction documents, and managing transactions from start to finish, supported by a tight-knit and experienced team.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ post-admission experience in front-end banking and finance, gained in private practice or a reputable in-house team. Experience across property and acquisition finance will be highly regarded. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commercial acumen, solid drafting skills, and a genuine interest in further developing their practice in a high-performing, team-oriented environment. Those who thrive on client engagement, responsibility, and variety in their work will be well suited to this role.
