The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate to join the firm’s Real Estate & Construction team in Brisbane on a full-time, permanent basis. Working directly with a highly regarded Partner and their team, the successful candidate will:

Advise on a wide range of property and development transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, development agreements, leasing, and tenure arrangements.
Work on significant government-led and commercial development projects, including major infrastructure and property finance matters.
Collaborate closely with construction and planning lawyers to provide clients with integrated, end-to-end legal support.
Manage matters both independently and in a team setting, with strong support from experienced practitioners.
Play an active role in mentoring junior lawyers and participating in the firm’s training and development initiatives.

The Candidate
To be successful in this role, candidates should demonstrate:

A minimum of 2 years’ post-admission experience in property or real estate law, ideally within a mid-to-top-tier firm or a strong boutique.
Broad experience across property development, leasing, acquisitions, and disposals.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
A proactive and commercial approach to legal problem-solving, with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
A collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to supervise and guide junior lawyers and support staff.
A genuine interest in client industries and a willingness to develop deep sector knowledge.
