Credit Officer

Our client is a high profile, highly successful multinational with a large presence in Australia and head office overseas. An employer of choice, they now have a rare opportunity for an experienced Credit Officer to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and reconcile debtor ledgers and customer accounts, including cash sales
Oversee credit releases exceeding limits in line with company policy
Investigate account disputes and maintain an up-to-date dispute register
Maintain cash flow forecasts related to collections
Prepare weekly and month-end reports, including ATB and customer statements
Conduct end-to-end debt collection, including escalation to legal proceedings
Review and recommend credit limits for existing customers using external credit agencies
Support new credit applications and submit to external agencies for assessment
Other ad hoc projects and tasks within the role scope.

About you:
To be successful for the role, you must demonstrate the following:

Demonstrated experience in the position accountabilities
Extensive experience in Credit Management and Accounts Receivable
Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management
Computer literate and strong with systems
Exceptional communication and customer service skills
A positive, team-focused and “can-do attitude.
