Experienced Intermediate Accountant/ Senior Accountant

Business Services Accountant with a twist – Business Advisory | AFR Top 10 Firm | Brisbane CBD

People2people have partnered with a highly regarded AFR Top 10 accounting firm located in the heart of Brisbane CBD. Due to continued growth, their Business Advisory division is seeking a strong Intermediate/ Senior Accountant to join the team. In this role, you’ll work closely with a portfolio of key clients — acting as their internal management accountant — while also supporting the broader team on tax advisory engagements. It’s a unique opportunity to blend hands-on commercial accounting with technical advisory exposure within a reputable firm.

What you’ll bring:

A degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business
CA/CPA qualified or currently undertaking
3–5 years’ experience within a public practice or professional services environment
Strong month-end reporting and analytical skills
Ability to build strong client relationships and tailor financial support to their needs
Proficiency with accounting platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks, or NetSuite
A proactive, collaborative attitude and the confidence to work both independently and within a team
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
