About the Organisation: Located just minutes from Perth’s CBD, this organisation plays a pivotal role in supporting and enriching the surrounding community. The Role:  You will be the trusted internal advisor on matters of governance, legal compliance, and risk. Reporting to the CEO, you will work closely with both operational teams and leadership to ensure best practices are met across the board.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Leading governance and risk frameworks across the organisation
  • Providing legal guidance on operational and strategic matters
  • Coordinating external legal engagements and maintaining legal registers
  • Supporting executive leadership and elected officials with sound advice
  • Leading and mentoring a small team
What We Are Looking For: You are confident, articulate, and solutions-focused, with a commercial mindset and the ability to translate complex legal matters into clear guidance.

To be successful, you will bring:
  • A qualification in Law, Business, Management or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Experience in legal advisory, governance, and/or risk management
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation (Local Government exposure is a bonus)
  • Excellent communication, research, and relationship-building skills
  • Current National Police Clearance

  • $115K – $134K base salary (depending on experience) + up to 14% super
