Governance, Legal & Risk Coordinator
This is a unique opportunity for someone with litigation or legal advisory experience to pivot into a broad in-house governance and risk position, with plenty of scope to contribute across legal, compliance, and leadership areas.

The Role: You will be the trusted internal advisor on matters of governance, legal compliance, and risk. Reporting to the CEO, you will work closely with both operational teams and leadership to ensure best practices are met across the board.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading governance and risk frameworks across the organisation
- Providing legal guidance on operational and strategic matters
- Coordinating external legal engagements and maintaining legal registers
- Supporting executive leadership and elected officials with sound advice
- Leading and mentoring a small team
To be successful, you will bring:
- A qualification in Law, Business, Management or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Experience in legal advisory, governance, and/or risk management
- Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation (Local Government exposure is a bonus)
- Excellent communication, research, and relationship-building skills
- Current National Police Clearance
- Permanent, full-time role (open to 4-day week for the right person)
- $115K – $134K base salary (depending on experience) + up to 14% super
- 5 weeks annual leave + 12 weeks paid parental leave (primary carer)
